Palaza & McDonough interviewed by THE ENTERPRISE while removing a dead tree damaged by caterpillers for the Knights of Columbus Hall on Route 18 in Whitman. It was just one of hundreds of dead trees that Palaza & McDonough of Whitman and Bridgewater have removed this year. Several years of damage by a trio of caterpillars, winter moth, forest tent and gypsy moth have left many trees defoiated, weak or dead. "We've had double the calls for dead treet this year", said Jeff Palaza.
